NECK CEMETERY
Established in 2018... rumored since 1984!

NECK CEMETERY is a German heavy metal band from North Rhine-Westphalia whose music is primarily inspired by classic 80s metal, such as Judas Priest, King Diamond, Iron Maiden, Accept, and Manowar. Alongside contemporary torchbearers such as Visigoth, Atlantean Kodex, and Night Demon, the band has developed its own identity in its early years. NECK CEMETERY represents heavy metal with heart and soul.

Their debut album, "Born in a Coffin," was released in October 2020 via Reaper Entertainment Europe and distributed worldwide by Universal Music. The record was created at the Gernhart Studios in Troisdorf, Germany, in collaboration with producer Martin Buchwalter, who is known in the scene for his work with Tankard, Destruction, Tom Angelripper, Paul Di'Anno, and Suidakra, among others. NECK CEMETERY won scene veteran Chris Boltendahl (Grave Digger) and guitarist Michael Koch (ex-Atlantean Kodex) for guest contributions.

The band subsequently played at several prestigious festivals, including the Rock Hard Festival (their performance there was recorded by WDR Rockpalast) and Wacken Open Air. Afterward, they created material for a new album: "Bring us the Head" was recorded in spring 2023 in collaboration with producer Martin Buchwalter and released on October 27, 2023, via Reaper Entertainment. Worldwide distribution was handled by Warner Music. They completed their first German tour as support act for US metal heroes Visigoth.

In early 2026, a new record deal was signed with the Leverkusen-based label Lucky Bob Music Agency. Subsequently, the band toured Germany and the Netherlands alongside the Peruvian heavy metal powerhouse Hyena. NECK CEMETERY are currently preparing for the release of their third studio album, "The Curse of Neck Cemetery"; recorded once again at Gernhart Studios, it is set for release on November 6, 2026, via Lucky Bob (with worldwide distribution by OPEN).
